“Heal the soul and everything else will flow.”
Hello, I’m Araceli.
I’ve been working as a Licensed Acupuncturist since 2018 and its been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I cherish the opportunity to work with individuals, assisting them on their journey toward optimal health and vitality. Recognizing the distinct needs and goals of each individual, I appreciate that health is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. My therapeutic approach embraces a nuanced process of healing that involves physical restoration, as well as harmonizing mental and emotional states. I am fully committed to creating a sacred space, a nurturing environment where the patient feels safe enough to liberate and release old patterns, habits, and traumas, that are impeding their well-being.
My personal journey toward healing and self-discovery started in 2011, when I enrolled in a Yoga and Ayurveda teacher training program at Dancing Shiva. There, the integration of asanas, varied breathing techniques, and meditation practices offered me a transformative opportunity to explore my own physical presence. For the first time in my life, I was able to embrace stillness and truly connect with myself. This experience inspired me to delve further into the complex energetics of the human body. Shortly after, I enrolled in the Masters program in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Yo San University in Marina del Rey, California.
During my academic tenure at the program, I gained proficiency in various styles of acupuncture that emphasized the interconnectivity of mind, body, and spirit. I also did my internship at Venice Family Clinic, where I specialized in Master Tung Acupuncture, a discipline renowned for its efficacy in chronic and acute disorders as well as pain management.
My passion grew exponentially after attending a workshop led by the esteemed Dr. Mikeo Sankey. It was there that I was introduced to potent techniques for chakra awakening, enriching both my understanding and experience of transformative treatments.
I’ve also studied cultivation practices including self healing qi gong, eight treasures, and tai chi. These methods foster inner harmony and balance and are invaluable tools for anyone in their quest for health restoration.
I am additionally certified in Reiki Level 1, 2 and 3 and offer a unique, integrative approach that combines Reiki therapy with Acupuncture. This specialized treatment is particularly beneficial for patients who have a hard time connecting with their bodies and need additional support healing trauma.
Prior to launching my own practice, I worked as a Licensed Acupuncturist at YSU Blount Community Clinic in Marina Del Rey and Aculibrium Acupuncture in Westwood. These experiences served as the foundation for my current venture and significantly contributed to my professional development.
